Abstract

One of the linguistic skills taught in writing is spelling skills. Spelling skills are a very complex process. This skill involves the ability to recognize a spelling based on the phonetic structure of the word, grammatical knowledge and apply the appropriate rules. The article provides an overview of the work of scholars who have conducted research related to writing literacy, spelling skills and its development. Talking about the role and importance of
spelling skills in the educational process, a set of tasks based on the traditional system for the development of spelling skills and created through digital learning
programs is presented.
