Abstract

When solving many problems related to triangles, especially complex ones, the problem arises of further stretching the sides of the triangle and connecting it with other elements of the triangle. One of the most important
theorems used to solve problems in such cases is Menelaus’s theorem. With the help of Menelaus’ theorem, you can quickly solve complex problems related to triangles and sometimes quadrangles. The article deals with such cases in different ways and is intended for teachers of modern and future mathematics.
